u a racist

I warned you this was coming. You made me do this, world. All the weak, little people out there who can't fend for themselves. Can't take responsibility for their shortcomings. Who hide under the blanket of stereotypes, and then curse the people who see them as stereotypical.

First, to ALL of my dear friends who are of other ethnicity - you know that I care for you greatly, and I cherish our friendship. I'm sorry, but I have to comment on this subject.

Let it be known that I'm not a racist at all. I am comfortable and confident in that assessment. Here, though, is a fact about me that at least one person will immediately replace with the word "racist" - I am a realist. If there are honest statistics or demographics stating the behaviors and tendencies of a particular group of people, I honestly will tend to accept that. Notice I said "group," not "race." If you are a member of that group, I will react to you accordingly. In other words...if you act like a shitbrick, you deserve to be treated like a shitbrick.

Furthermore, I'd heard recently an opinion on the way racism is tossed up in the blink of an eye, particularly by members of the black community. People, especially whites, are so terrified by the possibility of being called a racist - and the inevitably impending consequences - that they are walked over if they have anything to say in opposition to an idea or opinion of another race. Why does this happen? The offense knows the weakness and squeezes it like a pressure point when things don't go their way. In gutless fear, the frightened defense caves to avoid being labeled as a "bad person." Fuck off. I don't care what color you, we, he, she, they are...if you act like a stereotype, than that is the treatment you deserve. Grow up and make something of yourself.

Okay, now...one last topic on this race thing. Where the hell is the pride coming from with the Obama election? No disrespect, but come on....the history of the event is that we elected a mulatto. A wuh? MULATTO. Look it up, assnotch. Not black, not white. Not the name of a coffee drink. It's a breed of human. So could someone please stop the goddamned Obama coin commercials as well as the media frenzy?

Global Warm This

Alright, look... I'm going to take another stab at the mounting stupidity happening everywhere. I was supposed to go to sleep, but it's more conducive to rest if I get this out.

From melting ice caps to poor little polar bears, everyone's taking this whole global warming idea to heart. Because they feed from the nipple of the media, and never question the booby. You know what you know because that's what the mainstream wants you to know. It trusts that you are too stupid to seek truths on your own. Propaganda has shaped civilization farther back than anyone can remember. You can bet that it's happening right...now.

So let's touch lightly into this global warming armageddon doomsday momentary mental retardation. First, humans are drama whores. The sooner this is realized, the sooner denial will pass and we can move on. Second, question the "news" pumped into your face every time you turn around. Does it matter to you that approximately 650 scientists now speak out against global warming, stating that statistics have been heavily exaggerated or falsified? Would it change your opinion if you knew that a survey had been issued to more than 1000 scientists with climate warming statistics, only to be taken back and served as "proof from scientists" that there's cause for concern? How's this for a sign of the times: in this era of swelling taxation for nothing, there are politicians considering a tax on bovine methane. Yes, that's right - taxed cow farts. How long before humans will have to drop a quarter in the government jar every time Uncle Herbert clucks in duck down the hallway? Stay away from Mexican food, folks. They're out to get our assholes...

Before you make plans to go out and buy an overpriced hybrid or electric vehicle, do some homework. Here are some informative sites to curb your appetite for relief funds:

Assuming that the global warming bullshit is a step in the direction of further increases in government control - and therefore, fewer of your freedoms - or, shaping of civilization, what would it mean to have a President who campaigned to stop the seas from rising? Maybe he has more information than the previously mentioned 650 scientists. Surely it would be foolish to think they know what they're talking about. But it's all about politics, baby. To hell with the truth; I'll tell ya what you wanna hear. Well, saddle up. We're all about to ride the wake. Careful what you ask for - our way of life is about to get shaped alright...

2008: unRest In Hell

The few remaining hours of a shitty year grip the calendar with bloody claws. It's almost like watching justice being processed; yet, you don't know what the face waiting for you in the hall has in store. That face being 2009.

I think this year has been marked, at least for me, as one of horrible financial decisions. I made a few intelligent ones, but none are really helping me out of the hole. They just seem to slow my digging. If I can keep my nose at the surface of the water, I'll only breathe in the waves I splash at myself from frantically trying to keep afloat.

Such is the way, I suspect, of typical Americans. It happens when you live in a hub. Take time to consider that we are just that - a hub, an import-export gateway. Leaning much more toward importation. It's easy to be in this type environment and think that money is easily attainable. So we spend, and we spend in credit. (I'm guilty as hell of that, so don't think I'm on my soapbox.) When we buy, we go for whatever is cheapest - typically foreign products. How many true American brands exist and profit anymore? They're few and far between. We rely on the outsiders. We sacrifice ourselves and our economy to save money. Seems ironic... But because of greed - or because wage increases have not equalled cost of living increases - we send our products and our services elsewhere. And we stand slack-jawed in fear and bewilderment as a recession blankets the country.

On a national level, 2008 was a kick to the American crotch. With pointy toes. It's my belief that the government fell under the spotlight during extensive opportunities to prove itself; and was found wanting. I'm sure I can speak for hundreds or even thousands of others when I say that I've been left with precarious faith in Uncle Sam and the minds that move his limbs. Be it bailouts, economic policies, or the ridiculous election race, I could do nothing but shake my head. Amazing that I'm not in a neck brace.

What floors me just as much, if not more, than the insanity happening within the country is our complacency. We see these things happening, we do not agree with it, and it hurts. But we let it continue. Unless I'm mistaken, I was under the impression that America existed for its people. Not to be dominated by tyranny. To have a voice. To organize and function to balance for the good of the nation. The very first step in that process is to have a passionate response to a condition. Which we all know we have. The next step - and possibily the easiest - is to get pissed off and talk about it. I'm hooked on talk radio, so I'm happy to say that I do hear people on a daily basis making their thoughts heard. However, I suspect that many of us stay tight-lipped for fear of consequence. Understandable; but it is more of a responsibility to speak up, in my opinion, than it is to vote in a shitty presidential election.

So, please, I urge you....get pissed off at something and talk about it. There are plenty of things wrong with the "American Way." Find one and rip it apart. Maybe someday soon, after purging the animosity, we'll have a presentable solution. A way to fix the broken spine of America.

Preface

Have to say that I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my ramblings. The first issuance of gratitude goes out to Nick & Ashley.

Mkay, now...I feel compelled to forewarn again that this blog might step on some toes. Nick & Ash, you both know me and you know that I'm an open-minded individual. This whole notice thing I'm doing is like a disclaimer. Because I'm going to talk about religion...about politics...about race & racisms. Political correctness and just about any other ridiculous, controversial topic that slaps me in the face. And I have to say now - so I can say that it's been said - to any newcomers to my blog: sorry if I offend you, but these are my opinions to which I'm entitled.

The next post will actually be a post, and not a waste of your time. Thanks!

The Beginning?

Yes yes, here I am on a REAL blog site because Myspace's blog capability SUCKS the stinky hairs of donkey crack. Alright, welp....I just spent 1.5 hours on a great blog I was really proud of, only to have it completely deleted by Myspace before I could even post it. Suck it Tom!

Alright, to those of you who will be reading this, I forewarn you that I may offend you. Sooner or later. Sorry. But I welcome CONSTRUCTIVE criticisms and open communication. If writing never sparked emotion, would there be any reason to do it?

More as it develops...
